The problem with having a Christian Nation

Even at the local church level it is difficult enough arriving at a consensus on doctrine. Much more so at the denominational level. For example, are Catholics really Christians? What about those who worship on Saturday? Mormons? Jehovah's Witnesses?

If James Dobson becomes president, will he advocate that statues of Mary be destroyed, that all stores must close on Sundays?

If the major world religions unite, and become supported by the US government, arguably the major world power, widespread religious oppression of the minor religions will occur - and with greater force than the Dark Ages.
